The Venom mechanical jigging rods are the next generation in blank

and rod design to lift jigging to a whole new level in performance.

These rods use the very latest in both materials and technology to deliver

unprecedented strength and ability to meet the demands of today's top jiggers.

 

The Venom blanks are designed and made in New Zealand to Synit's exacting

specifications and rolled by Kilwell Fiber Tubes in Rotoura.

 Our Venom rods are all hand built by Team Synit. Each and every rod will be slightly different to the next as all the EVA grips are hand turned and components placed to meet the customers requirements and needs. This makes every Venom rod unique and of course the performance remains unchanged and unmatched.

 

There are four models in the line up from the power packed lightweight V250 to the heavy weight V550 with a V350 and V450 in between. The Venoms are 93-96% carbon with a special blend of Carbon/Kevlar and other carbon patterns. The Venom can be built as either an overhead and Spin or in a full Synit Antacid Spiral wrap.

 

Hours of testing in New Zealand waters and overseas waters has gone into these rods by some of New Zealand's top jiggers as well as supreme jiggers from overseas.

Build specifications to the customers specified requirements, the lengths of the Venoms range between 5'2"and 5'4" on cut blank measurement to gain optimum performance from each rod in there respective weight class.

Our Venoms are built on the very best in ALPS components like the finger support TRI-LEX4 reel seats matched to ALPS XN Zircion guides. Other components are available by request.

The build specification on an Elite Venom is purely up to the purchaser to decide on and can be built to most any custom fit.
