Sad News from the Synit team

It is with great sadness that we lost Tiny Coe in 2009. A gentle giant , top bloke, and a mad fisherman, those that were fortunate to have met him, will truly miss him. Synit is very much a part of Tiny, and we will continue to do our best to live up to the dreams that Tiny had, of  top gear, top service, all while having a great time.

I have been fishing before I could talk, walk or crawl. I learnt from one of the best teachers in my life, my mum, and that's when I realized that woman make fantastic fishermen. What a basis to build my love of fishing from.

I built my first rod at the age of 14yrs and have never stopped building and challenging rod design and concepts. I have worked in the Recreational Fishing industry for too many years to remember and my latest opportunity has been working with Yeehaa Fishing at the Panmure roundabout.

Early in 2005 I had the chance to experience something that bought back memories and the excitement of a kid catching his first fish. I went out with the Pro's from "Pure Fishing" Australia to fish with some rubber wiggly things, well it gave my fishing something so new and invigorating I just had to be part of where it was going.

With my long time customer and new found mate MIB I got designing a range of rods for this Soft Bait scene to suit the Kiwi and his domain and what started out as fun will continue till I'm old and grey. I didn't know at first where this awesome journey was going to take me, but looking at what I've achieved with the Synit Team I'm sure enjoying the ride.
